Capital is Energy | Part Two | The Wisdom Risk Factor
Written by Constance de Wavrin, Founder of In|Flow and a teacher of Flow Yoga in London
On the eve of 2026, we launched our Capital is Energy Series dedicated to exploring energetic pathways that turn inner knowing into right action.
In Part One, we boldly invited you to consider and explore the energetic vibration of capital. We recognised the inner qualities and powers of intuition, intention and integrity when mobilising capital for good. In Part Two, we invite you to reconnect to your inner wisdom, learn to cultivate the right conditions for inspired and creative action to emerge and guide us towards shaping the world we wish to live in.
We live in a time of great polarisation and, to use the words of Marianne Williamson, of "disassembling". The backdrop of political chaos, economic uncertainty and social disarray can leave us feeling divided and disempowered. Yet we have options. Through awakened awareness we can exert the power to choose to pause and reflect amidst adversity. In traditional wisdom, difficulties are seen as fertilisers for the soul, preparing us for our dharma or life purpose and offering us the opportunity to commit to what we want to see in the world. In this quest, our inner state of being becomes our anchor amidst the chaos. Not an escape but a capacity to regenerate and co-create from a place of truth, strength and grace.
Transformative finance for regenerative economies starts with the human heart
Having dedicated time to explore the terrain, art and science of driving capital for sustainability and impact, it is safe to say that the way the modern world stewards human and planetary resources has wandered a long way away from the laws of nature, ancient wisdom and eastern philosophies. Now is a choice point to recognise that transformative finance for regenerative economies starts with the human heart and heart-centred practices predicated on sacred texts.
Enters the wisdom risk factor of capital allocation as a long overlooked leverage point for effective and regenerative systems to unfold. Responsible investment value chains are populated with humans - policy makers, industry and finance professionals, who have elders to learn from and heirs they owe a sustainable future to. Through conscious collaboration and innovation, they have the power to make informed decisions to allow for highly deliberate and sophisticated financial structures, products and services that serve us rather than the opposite.
Call to action: where do we begin?
2026 marks a point of pure potentiality not yet lived and it all begins with our own individual consciousness. We have to become what we want to see in the world. Through the expression of our values in our work, we create an aura and a capacity to relate to one another in a way that is unifying instead of divisive. We learn to operate from a place of being rather than fear and scarcity. Every soul carries a unique gift and purpose, and our first imperative is to become an instrument of light and not of shadow.
The next breath we take can determine our future. Through insight meditation - also known as vipassana, we learn to observe the mind, revealing that we are not our thoughts. By becoming the observer, we step back, hold space and cultivate the conditions necessary for more congruence and for heart-led solutions to emerge. The pause between breaths slowly dissolves the ego, reveals the illusory world we have been conditioned to live in and sets us on our way to transform our living systems. This is the crack that lets the light in.
Reminded of our true nature and completeness, we stand to cultivate the soil of our energy field, and it follows, of our ecosystem. Through intentional multi stakeholder engagement, we steward resources and capital spend meaningfully and purposefully. Learning to recognise the subtle and esoteric dimension that is interwoven with the material world, we feel compelled to enable socially responsible, regenerative, compassionate and inclusive projects, assets and investments to serve our greater collective good.
When a capital sangha guides a universal shift in resource management
At In|Flow, we hold space for a “capital sangha”, a community of financial, industry, civil society and government professionals whose values and principles govern a new way of financing our evolution and of investing in our collective future. We leverage this like-minded network and expertise to activate the entire sustainable investment value chain and offer enterprise, corporates and investors pathways to shift their use of resources and capital to bring their business model in line with their unique set of sustainable values.
Per the regenerative principles we believe in, cultivating the conditions where people, teams, and organisations can genuinely thrive leads to the co-creation of outcomes better suited to the collective. Cutting through the illusion of separateness, we create room for transcending otherwise stifling, mostly illusory, differences, and open the door to non-dualistic awareness, simply holding space for what is. Ultimately we demonstrate that adjusting risk for wisdom not only delivers returns, positive and regenerative impact, it also fosters empowerment to restore health and wealth equality.
